Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have had a huge year between their engagement, The Life of a Showgirl, football season, and The End of an Era docuseries. They’re still keeping it 100, though, as they look forward to 2026 together.
According to sources, the couple “make time to be together” through the chaos of their whirlwind careers.
“Taylor’s had an incredibly full, demanding year and she’s really proud of everything she’s accomplished,” an insider told People on Tuesday, December 16. “She’s worked extremely hard and her schedule has been nonstop, but even with everything going on, she and Travis still put a lot into their relationship.”
Of course, the source doubled down and reassured the outlet that Tay and Trav “really support each other’s careers and understand the demands that come with what they each do,” adding, “Whenever they can, they make time to be together and really value that alone time.”
This ^^^ update comes after the Kansas City Chiefs were eliminated from the NFL playoffs for the first time in 12 years. Travis looked gutted by his team’s loss against the Los Angeles Chargers on December 14 in footage captured by sports anchor McKenzie Nelson.
According to Us Weekly, he also declined to speak to reporters on the field, saying, “It’s not the time.”
It was at that same game that Taylor rang in her 36th birthday alongside Travis’ family, including his mom, Donna Kelce, and her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce.
After dropping TLOAS back in October, a separate source told People that Taylor is “very excited” to shift her energy toward wedding planning with Travis.
“She put so much work into this album and the film and seeing how fans have embraced both means the world to her. She’s been super focused on work commitments and hasn’t seen Travis much. She’s not kidding when she says she’s exhausted,” the insider said at the time, adding, “She’s ready for a professional break so she can focus on the wedding.”
